In October I started work filming with Big Communications for their client Quorn. Being married to a Vegetarian, I’ve been introduced to this healthy way of eating and have over the years experimented with Quorn dishes, so naturally I was quite excited when Big asked me to put together some recipe films for launch on Quorn’s YouTube channel.
The brief was to create short and sweet instructional films that communicate the simplicity of cooking with Quorn, with an emphasis on speedy cooking with delicious and healthy ingredients. Shooting took place over one day at Brompton cookery school in Shrewsbury owned by TV chef Marcus Bean. Great hosts and amazing facilities!
Here’s one of the finished films to get your taste buds tingling!
To compliment the films we also produced still photography of each of the recipes as part of the same shoot.
It’s been a while since I dabbled in food, and as with all recipe shoots, filming has great visual challenges, but I got to meet new friends and crew who worked amazingly under these pressures.
